About Raza

Raza is an Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapist who provides online therapy for individual men across Ontario. As an Occupational Therapist authorized to practice psychotherapy, he offers a unique, holistic perspective that bridges mental health with the practical realities of everyday life—helping men improve not only how they feel, but also how they function at home, work, in relationships, and in their daily routines.

He works with men navigating challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, trauma, anger, depression, self-esteem, substance use, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Raza also has a particular interest in supporting men from diverse cultural backgrounds, including BIPOC communities, first-generation and immigrant individuals, and Muslim clients.

Raza believes meaningful change begins with feeling understood. He recognizes that many men carry invisible pressures—whether related to cultural expectations, family responsibilities, identity, work, or past experiences—and strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore these challenges openly and build lasting resilience.

Drawing from both occupational therapy and psychotherapy, Raza takes a holistic, evidence-based approach that considers how mental health impacts every aspect of a person’s life. He integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Person-Centred Therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique goals, strengths, and lived experiences.

Whether someone is seeking support for ADHD, managing anxiety or depression, processing trauma, improving emotional regulation, or building healthier coping strategies, Raza works collaboratively with clients to develop practical tools, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

What Therapy Is Like

Clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive environment where they are encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for them. Raza brings empathy, curiosity, and practical problem-solving into each session, helping clients better understand themselves while developing effective strategies for managing life’s challenges.

Whether you’re learning to navigate ADHD, healing from trauma, managing anxiety, building confidence, or working through difficult emotions, Raza’s goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence so you can create meaningful and lasting change both in therapy and in everyday life.

About Jason

Jason is a master-level student therapist completing his master’s degree in counselling psychology, practising under clinical supervision. Before entering the mental health field, I spent many years working in the arts as an educator and coach, experiences that continue to shape my collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy.

As a single dad living in Toronto, I understand that life can be challenging, uncertain, and demanding. I enjoy supporting men and their partners who are looking to move beyond old patterns, make sense of difficult experiences, and build a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with their values.

What Therapy Is Like I believe therapy is a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to see yourself and your experiences from a different perspective. My approach draws primarily from existential and narrative therapy, helping you explore the stories you carry, discover new ways of understanding yourself, and move toward the life you want to create.

Our work together is collaborative, grounded in curiosity, empathy, and humour. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, explore what matters most, and develop practical strategies to create lasting change. Whether you’re navigating stress, relationships, identity, grief, or a major life transition, we’ll work together to help you move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and confidence.

About John

John is the Clinic Director at Uplift Therapy for Men and a Registered Psychotherapist who works primarily with men, fathers, partners, and professionals navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, anger, and emotional disconnection.

He understands that many men carry significant responsibilities and expectations while often having few spaces where they can openly process what they are experiencing. Whether it is the pressures of fatherhood, work demands, relationship struggles, or simply feeling stuck in repeating patterns, John believes therapy can provide an opportunity to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

John brings a masculinity-centered and relational approach to therapy that respects masculinity while supporting emotional growth, accountability, and self-compassion. Grounded in Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Relational Life Therapy, he helps clients better understand the emotional patterns that shape their reactions, relationships, and sense of self while also developing practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.

He enjoys supporting clients through challenges related to anger, anxiety, communication breakdowns, stress, and intimacy, helping them build emotional resilience, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of connection with themselves and the people who matter most.

Clients can expect a warm, direct, and collaborative space where they can speak openly without fear of judgment. John balances compassion with accountability, helping clients explore challenges honestly while identifying practical steps toward meaningful change.

His approach focuses on helping clients make sense of strong emotions, strengthen self-awareness, improve communication, and respond more intentionally in their relationships, work, and daily lives. About Alfred

Alfred is a Registered Psychotherapist at Uplift Therapy for Men who supports men and couples navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity, connection, and purpose. Whether you’re facing stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, communication struggles, or feeling stuck in recurring patterns, Alfred provides a supportive space to better understand what’s happening beneath the surface and move toward meaningful change.

Before becoming a therapist, Alfred worked as an actuary, giving him a unique ability to combine analytical thinking with genuine emotional understanding. He recognizes that many men naturally approach challenges through problem-solving, yet some of life’s most important struggles require emotional insight, self-awareness, and connection. For couples, he helps partners strengthen communication, navigate conflict with greater understanding, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Alfred’s work is also informed by his experience as a facilitator with Everyman, a global men’s community dedicated to helping men build deeper emotional awareness, stronger relationships, and authentic connection. This experience has reinforced his belief that lasting growth happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and supported without judgment.

What Therapy Is Like

Clients often describe Alfred as calm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. Therapy with him is conversational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity rather than criticism. He won’t tell you how to live your life or rush to offer quick fixes. Instead, he’ll work alongside you to better understand your experiences, uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and help you move toward meaningful, lasting change. Alfred strives to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable exploring even the conversations that feel difficult to have elsewhere.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and mindfulness-based practices, Alfred tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, values, and goals. Together, you’ll develop practical tools, greater emotional awareness, and the confidence to navigate life’s challenges with intention.

Alfred believes therapy isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you—it’s about gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, developing new ways of responding to life’s challenges, and creating a life that feels more connected, intentional, and aligned with what matters most.

About Trevor

Trevor is a Registered Psychotherapist at Uplift Therapy for Men who supports men navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, career stress, grief, trauma, and questions around identity and purpose. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, disconnected from yourself or others, or simply unsure of what’s next, Trevor offers a grounded space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and move toward meaningful change.

Before becoming a therapist, Trevor spent over 20 years in leadership roles within some of Canada’s largest charitable organizations and as a college instructor. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into the pressures many men carry—balancing work, relationships, family responsibilities, and personal expectations—while often feeling they need to figure everything out on their own.

Trevor’s approach to therapy is grounded, collaborative, and compassionate. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic, somatic, attachment-based, relational, and existential approaches, he helps clients understand not only what’s happening in their lives today, but also the deeper patterns that may be influencing how they think, feel, and relate to others.

Together, you’ll work toward greater emotional awareness, resilience, and the confidence to respond to life’s challenges with intention rather than reaction.

What Therapy Is Like

Therapy with Trevor is calm, practical, and conversational. He brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine presence to each session, creating an environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions without fear of judgment. Rather than offering quick fixes or telling you what to do, Trevor works alongside you to uncover what matters most, helping you build practical tools while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself. His goal is for clients to leave therapy feeling more grounded, connected, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

In addition to his clinical work, Trevor facilitates men’s groups through Mentor, Discover, Inspire (MDI), where he supports men in developing authentic relationships, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of purpose within their communities.

Trevor believes meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, understood, and supported. His hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can reconnect with yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
